Agate has been used for centuries as a material for crafting ornaments, small sculptures and for bases and handles of gold items, such as goblets. Medicinally it was known to ancient Egyptian and Greeks, as well as in parts of Africa, Middle East and Russia.

Agate is a variety chalcedony, characterised by its fineness of grain and brightness of colour. This gemstone comes in a selection of beautiful hues and can be found all over the world.

It is beneficial to all Chakras, it stabilizes the aura and balances intellectual, emotional and physical energies, creating harmony between yin and yang. Agate promotes love, making it great for soothing all kinds of trauma. This gemstone is believed to heal skin, eyes, the heart and blood vessels.

Onyx, a stunning dark gemstone, has been used throughout the ages in carvings and jewellery, where it was usually cut as a cabochon or into beads. During the rule of Alexander the Great, when cameos gained popularity, Onyx became a material of choice for Greek and Macedonian artisans.

Onyx, similar to Agate, is a banded variety of the oxide mineral Chalcedony. The colours of its parallel bands range from white to brown or grey.

This gemstone is believed to create comfort in new environments, help overcome loneliness and build the balance between mind and emotions, assisting with decision making. It is associated with the Root Chakra, protecting and stabilizing personal energy.
Onyx is often recommended to athletes as it increases strength, endurance, and perseverance, especially if placed on the Solar plexus.

Lapis Lazuli is one of the oldest gemstones being cherished and admired from around 4,000 B.C. It was used in armour, sculpture, jewellery and crushed into powder for dyes, makeup (Cleopatra is believed to have used Lapis Lazuli eye-shadows), ultramarine paint (a favourite of Michelangelo and Vermeer) as well as medicinal elixirs.

Lapis is one of the few gemstones that is a rock rather than a mineral. It’s colour and texture come from the combination of three minerals: lazurite, calcite and pyrite.

This stone activates the psychic centres at the Brow Chakra (Third Eye) and balances the energies of the Throat Chakra. Lapis Lazuli is a crystal of truth, it encourages self-awareness and self-acceptance, helping the wearer to maximize personal growth.

Lapis Lazuli is used in healing ear and nasal passages. It is beneficial to the throat, vocal chords and is believed to relieve migraines.
